In the amphitheatre of the green stage, an intergenerational audience crowded into the stands to marvel at the power of Fatoumata Diawara. Her best-known songs were sung with the crowd, providing an excellent warm-up for the final day of the festival. Throughout the concert, the Malian artist spared no effort in her exchanges with the audience, her controlled dress and impressive ease. Not to mention her voice, always in tune. She captured everyone’s attention, including our own.
