Carte blanche : Fatoumata Diawara

With the shamanic charisma, good humour and contagious joy that characterise her, Fatoumata Diawara surrounds herself with exceptional artists and initiates unexpected encounters during this exclusive show specially created for France Télévisions. Yemi Alade, Arthur H, Roberto Fonseca, Amadou & Mariam and Barbara Pravi share the stage of the Hermitage with this great voice of Africa that crosses borders. For this carte blanche, Fatoumata Diawara has specially composed two tracks: “Tama”, which she performs as a duet with Barbara Pravi, and “Donke” with Yemi Alade. The latter’s appearance is an event: an international star from the Nigerian scene, she notably distinguished herself with Beyoncé for her performance on the track “Don’t Jealous me”.
